I came to Briançon with my aunt from Florence.
We chose to have lunch here because we were craving a good raclette, and I have to say, everything was fantastic.
Federico, the owner, speaks Italian, and he and his son were super kind to us.
Everything was great, truly excellent. We'll be back.

Typical dinner
I'd been here many years ago and it was a pleasure to return. The menu is always very similar, making it the ideal place to try traditional dishes. The atmosphere is very charming and mountainous. We had a platter of excellent cured meats, a very good entrecôte with fries (€32), and a brianconnaise crust, homemade bread soaked in Busco wine with raclette ham and egg. The baked dish with salad (€24) was good, a little heavy, but definitely worth a try! We drank an excellent bottle of wine and to finish, apple fritters with cream, perhaps the dessert was our least favorite. The price was a little high, but in line with the area. Overall, we'll gladly return.

The raclette was good; the cheese was high quality and flavorful. However, the price seemed a bit high for what was offered. The charcuterie is extra, which isn't always the case in other establishments, and this further increases the bill.
The service was adequate without being particularly warm: the servers weren't very smiley or welcoming, which is a shame. Special mention, however, goes to the bartender, who was really friendly and pleasant.
We were also rushed to leave around 8:30 pm, even though the reservation specified that we would have the table until 9:00/9:15 pm for the second seating, which was disappointing. A good place for raclette, but the value for money and the service could be improved.
