L'AMBOISERIE sur Amboise

Magnificent restaurant with an incredible terrace overlooking the castle walls, very friendly and kind staff, the meal was incredible, it was all very good, the only small thing was the desserts were not up to the standard of the dishes served.

Warm staff, quiet and very cozy terrace, top-notch cuisine (the panna cotta is perfect), kids friendly and women friendly 😉

Delicious vegetarian dishes, as well as desserts. Cool and pleasant terrace. Fast service.

Food nothing more but quality service

We had a table of 13 including 6 children and the staff were accommodating and friendly. Service was good and food.

Arriving late for our vacation, we tried to see if it was possible to eat there. We were pleasantly surprised by the warm, smiling welcome and also the possibility of eating there without having booked for 5 people. The kindness of the room service, the kindness and the availability won us over. Added to that a very affordable and high quality complete meal. What a pleasure to eat homemade! A place where we felt welcome even with our 3 children, one of whom was young. Adaptability and responsiveness of the team to make you feel very comfortable there. Possibility of having board games to play at the table which directly allowed us to relax and make the children wait in very good conditions (even if the wait was not long). We highly recommend! And we will come back with great pleasure! A real favorite! Thanks to the entire team (both in the dining room and in the kitchen)!

Good welcome, quality cuisine, very pleasant waiter with a touch of appreciable humor

When we arrived, there was no more room on the terrace on the first floor. We were therefore placed on the ground floor terrace. A waitress named Leelou came to offer us a place on the first floor terrace. To which we responded positively to his proposal. Leelou and Cindy were professional throughout the meal and listened to us. The choice of wine and the temperature of the wine was really good. Meal side. The “La terrasse” Burger was very good. The beef with honey and sweet potato puree was really melt in the mouth. As for dessert, we chose the revisited pear tart tatin which was extremely good and I compliment the chef for this feat. We will come back with an appetite. Really a restaurant in terms of Quality/Price which is very good. I recommend this address.

Very good food, very warm welcome, smiles, etc...!

We are very well received there! We arrived with our small dog and it posed no problems (we even had a bowl of water). The quality of service was perfect from start to finish! The waiters and waitresses are very attentive to ensuring that lunch goes well for everyone. Local and quality cuisine! The only downside was that one of the plates was not properly cooked. For a tourist location at the foot of the Château d'Amboise, the prices are really reasonable. Recommended restaurant!
