Recommended by locals, this spot offers a generous seafood platter with a lot of food for a reasonable price. It's located right above the sea, in what used to be a ferry terminal, which makes the walk there feel a bit odd or industrial—but don’t let that stop you. Once inside, the atmosphere is truly charming and inviting, with a relaxed maritime vibe. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the food is fresh and tasty, even if it might not be the absolute best in Saint-Malo. Still, a great experience overall, especially for seafood lovers!

The Admiral Restaurant is a great place with exceptional service. Naïs was very receptive to our humor, although she made my mussel fall, Jason (whose age we refuse to accept) has infallible marketing techniques and a hell of a bottle of verbena, Arnaud (whose name Alain would suit us better) has a contagious good humor and can gracefully tap his tray if it's your birthday, he also moves the parasols wonderfully with his big muscles. The balance of flavors has nothing to envy to the balance of the waiters (Jason, you've seen). The waiters are more than friendly and the food is very good. The fish-shaped carafes are very elegant and can be purchased if you like them. The ashtrays are made from scallop shells, which will delight any smoker who loves seafood. The fries are gluten-free (a plus for us) and the finger bowls smell very good. In short, quality staff and food, we warmly recommend this establishment where we spent a quality time.

Beautiful establishment with a beautiful view of the sea and the ramparts. The welcome was warm. There were 21 of us for a birthday party. The service was very efficient: no waiting. Everyone was served at the same time, and the food was hot, beautiful, and, above all, very good. A big thank you to all the staff for their professionalism and good humor. And, of course, to the chef. I highly recommend this restaurant and we will be back. THANK YOU.
