This restaurant was recommended to us by our B&B. I booked through Google (very convenient for non-French speakers) and luckily there was room. The food is excellent, with a reasonably priced daily menu. The lady who manages the restaurant is very kind and professional, and I thank her for her courtesy! Recommended!

We had lunch on the terrace and everything was perfect. Beautiful sea view, friendly and warm welcome, good value for money. I 100% recommend this restaurant.

A wonderful discovery! While passing through Saint-Malo, we stumbled upon this little restaurant near the Solidor Tower. The set menu at €28 (starter, main course, dessert) delighted us. The food was excellent, and the service was warm. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommended!

Delightful evening on all accounts; food, service and a wonderful conversation with one of the owners. Parking is a a tad challenging but don't let that deter you from trying this wonderful, intimate spot. If we are ever again in St Malo we will definitely return to Le Bulot.

From appetizer to dessert, absolutely flawless!! We had a wonderful meal! The food was incredibly fresh and the flavors were amazing! And the value for money is unbeatable! Plus, the service was top-notch! This restaurant is a real gem!!!

12/04/2026: This was our first time at La Taverne de Saint Malo, and we weren't disappointed; it was truly flawless. The restaurant's ambiance is pleasant and welcoming, with beautiful decor spread over two levels. We were immediately greeted and taken care of by the attentive and friendly staff once seated. We came on a Thursday to take advantage of the all-you-can-eat beef carpaccio offer we had seen on the restaurant's Facebook page. It was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented with parmesan shavings, lemon slices, chives, and perfectly seasoned, accompanied by a choice of green salad or fries. The restaurant was moderately full that evening, but we were pleasantly surprised by the speed and efficiency of the impeccable service. Frankly, a wonderful discovery, and we will gladly return to your establishment.
