Probably one of the better bar restaurants in the town, one because of its wonderful unique location but two because the food and wine is excellent. The service was fast, friendly and helpful and the recommendations for the scallop was great. Highly recommend.

Charming cafe just below the tower. Nice outdoor seating, offering snacks and local wines. Many places are closed for mid-afternoon, so it was great to be able to have food at that time.

Lovely balcony with wine by the glass, however it closes at 7pm and at 6pm they locked the gates & refused to let anyone else in… turned away at least 20 people on a day where it had rained a lot so people were out about later as been for ed to stay in for a few hrs during the day. So get in before 6pm if you want to have a wee glass of wine.

06/10/2025: Very nice place to spend a few hours over a great lunch, great menu choise even for my fussy wife, good service and atmosphere.
05/10/2025: What a wonderful lunch. The service was excellent, friendly and bilingual. The menu had the normal regional fare, but also included a pasta and fish dish, along with a vegetarian option. More choice than most of the other restaurants in the town. I had fish of the day, swordfish, in a lemon butter sauce, a choice of rice, pasta or mashed potato. Wonderfully delicate and full of flavours. Max and Emilie the hosts were friendly, enthusiastic and fun . Definitely worth a visit !
