How lucky we are to have such a restaurant in Pont-de-Rouergue! Refined, original cuisine, everything homemade and beautifully presented. Excellent service and welcome.

On our way to Dijon, we stopped again at L'Aquarelle, which is open on Sundays. This time, we had lunch inside. After enjoying an aperitif with small cheese and truffle muffins, the waitress came to take our order... we only had the wine list to look at 🤔, the menu was on other tables but not ours... The food was prepared with fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. This time, the amuse-bouche (mushroom and truffle flan) was a little under-seasoned, while the starter, a soft-boiled egg with morels and green asparagus, was perfectly acceptable. The cod fillet and the artichoke mousseline were also a little under-seasoned, but the samosa was very well-seasoned. We didn't have dessert as we still had a long drive ahead of us. The espresso and pistachio financiers were excellent! We'll definitely stop by on our next visit; third time's the charm! Thanks and all the best!
