The restaurant was crowded, as I was seated near the entrance. Bad luck. I ordered a fondue for two plus a charcuterie platter.
The portion size was (in my opinion) insufficient.
The price was a bit too high.
The service was excellent until the waiter came to stir my fondue to "avoid scrubbing the pans for too long." In short, a fondue cost €24 per person, and charcuterie €17. Not bad, but not excellent.

A very mixed review for this well-known and highly recommended restaurant. The manager was welcoming, friendly, and very professional. However, the unprofessional and uninspired waiters greeted us without a "good evening" and handed us the menu without a word. Raclette isn't complicated, but there was no explanation of the charcuterie, which was hastily placed on the table. In short, I was neither happy nor unhappy... just disappointed compared to my expectations.

We had a reservation, thankfully. The owner and the young waiters were very welcoming, and we were delighted with the raclette. We were even able to take home the leftover cheese, which they very kindly offered us. For dessert, we had ice cream and a Dame Blanche (vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce), "yum yum!" 👌🤗

Yes, the food is excellent, a real treat. But what can I say about the welcome! From beginning to end, you feel the generosity, the dedication to service, and the good humor… despite the restaurant being packed! We had a wonderful time as a family, thank you to the team!

I've been going there every winter for years and I'm never disappointed. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, with a real mountain feel (special mention to the bear 🐻).
I love the raclette, especially the wild garlic version, with its quality cheese and generous charcuterie, but the original tartiflette or the wild garlic version are also a real treat!
A sure bet in Luchon, I highly recommend it!
