We discovered this restaurant after a theatre performance in the area. I highly recommend it for its value for money and varied menu, but especially for the warm welcome and friendliness of the servers, who are so cheerful. It's so nice to be well received, especially in Paris :)

Restaurant Vatel

07/03/2026: A wonderful discovery on the sixth floor of the Aurore Tower in La Défense. The training restaurant allows students from the Vatel school to practice in real-world conditions. The welcome is impeccable and warm. The value for money is excellent. You can have a great experience and try new things without breaking the bank. The portions are quite generous and the dishes are very flavorful – no need for salt or pepper! The only drawbacks: the lighting is a little too dim, making it difficult to read the menus and slightly detracting from the presentation of the dishes. Also, the dishes were lukewarm, perhaps prepared a little too far in advance. However, it is possible to reheat them. Finally, I particularly recommend the wine pairing offered with the Grand Vatel menu. The Chinon is very fragrant and pairs perfectly with the cheese trolley. Thank you for this wonderful evening!
