In a very pleasant, warmly decorated ambiance, one can enjoy high-level culinary art. Each course is artfully presented and testifies to a master of their craft.
This is not altered by the fact that we didn't find the combination of salmon trout and red cabbage entirely successful due to the acidity of the red cabbage overpowering the fish; this is ultimately a matter of taste. The ingredients of each course were fresh and of high quality. This also applies to the ravioli with goat cheese and mirabelle plums, although we had expected filled and warm pasta pockets; in fact, it was a cold dish in which pasta dough was simply placed over the cheese. Despite our expectations, this course was still delicious.
The service was friendly, and the prices were reasonable considering the elaborate preparation of each course and the consistently high quality of the ingredients.

Having traveled from Metz based on reviews, we were absolutely delighted with our lunch at L’Argousier. The setting is very elegant and understated, decorated with exquisite taste. The welcome was both professional and warm: the owner himself took our order and readily offered an alternative to one of the dishes. The service was efficient, seamless, and discreet: the entire team was dedicated to ensuring the comfort of the guests. As for the dishes: magnificent from start to finish. Surprising (chili ice cream), delicate and original (the cauliflower variations), as creative as they were beautiful and delicious. The wine pairings were superb thanks to the sommelier's recommendations (Pinot Gris, Pinot de Bourgogne, and as an aperitif, Crémant au Syrup de Auvergne). We were completely won over, and despite the distance, we will be back. A restaurant worthy of Michelin stars that we wholeheartedly recommend. Bravo to this wonderful team!

A truly wonderful culinary experience that I would rank even higher than St Wilfried in Sarreguemines. The chef, sommelier, and servers all ensure a delightful amuse-bouche. A culinary experience to be had at least once in a lifetime.
