We could walk past it without stopping (very small, few tables, a small terrace on the edge of the semi-pedestrian lane of the old village of Colle sur Loup...) and we would be very wrong because the cuisine is superb (des tasty dishes, with daring but always successful compositions...) a real treat, a real surprise, a real good gastronomic moment.
The 5 flavors menu (with little choice, but all the proposals are exceptionally successful in their flavors) at 65 euros is worth the detour. There are only a few differences with the 3 flavors menu at 57 euros but it would be wrong to deprive yourself of the appetizer and the pre-dessert (what originality, what delicacy!)
One small downside, the wine list does not match the dishes offered (a Languedoc wine and a Graves at more than 40 euros per bottle, it is not good value for money] but that No matter the rest is exceptional, you have to go there.

Lunch on
Sunday, outside table. We had the tasting menu with a bottle. It's difficult to find negative things. The only risk of going there is wanting to come back.

Bonjour, nous sommes allés à l Atelier des Saveurs ce Samedi 24 août 2024.
Le palais des Délices ou les papilles sont émerveillées à chaque fois que l on vient dans ce tres bon restaurant.
Le service est rapide, avec de très bons conseils et le Chef est au commande. Allez y les yeux fermés en réservant au préalable, vous ne serez absolument pas déçu de l ambiance, de l accueil et de la qualité. On vous remercie 🙏 restez comme vous êtes. BRAVO
Honestly, 4 stars and I think everything is very basic. The food was good: we shared a foi gras that took 45 minutes to arrive (someone will explain to me why it takes so long to bring something ready) and then after 1 hour and a half the filet mignon and sea bass arrived (nothing out of this world, and We paid €150 in total, including 2 glasses of wine)... anyway, OK but nothing more, and overpriced. Too much time waiting for dishes... the waitress was lovely, the best thing in the place.

Nous avons réservé en dernière minute et nous avons juste été surpris par cette belle table; des entrées fines de saveurs; des plats à la hauteur des entrées, et les desserts rien à redire…. Et puis une serveuse au top, souriante et patiente… eh oui les clients sont parfois très difficiles… bravo à elle et merci pour ce dîner réussi

If I could give 10 stars I would have! You delighted us, I don’t have the words!! We have wanted to come and eat at your place for a long time, and this evening we were lucky enough to be able to come and taste your dishes. It was a delight and flawless from start to finish. Each dish is an explosion of flavors. Everything is very fine, very fresh, the plates reflect cooking with heart and passion, it was incredibly good and refined. Thank you so much. Thank you also for all the attention, the little parmesan shortbreads as an aperitif, the financiers and the little meringues after dessert. We will come back for sure! Thank you for making us “a special plate” as a starter because one of the three of us is allergic to fish. It's been a long time since I ate so well in a restaurant. And the very friendly service from your waitress is a reflection of your cuisine. In short, don't change anything, we can't wait to come back to taste other dishes. Congratulations to all .

The verdict in one sentence: Immediate takeoff, Basque-colored setting and warm, sincere service. It was so divine that I almost forgot to take photos!
Tested on a Saturday lunchtime. Chats and laughter as there were few of us [everyone at the beach!] and ended up having the person in charge of the service to ourselves.
We tested the croquettes as a starter but nothing like all those I was able to test in Barcelona. Another dimension.
Tasty piece of beef for my mother while I enjoyed my foie gras as a main course accompanied by small artichokes and soft brioche.
Then a deconstructed lemon dessert that I can't describe. The kind of creation that you can't reproduce at home. This is why it is better to treat yourself with a gastro rather than 5 mediocre restaurants.
White wine by the glass because I like it dry, it fruity and that way no excess. I took the Jurançon extremely fresh as I like it.
Beautiful tablecloths and napkins that reminded me of a shopping trip in St Jean de Luz.
Small treats and quality coffee.
Run there for a big occasion. Menu at 55 euros but we preferred to make our choice a la carte combined with the tapas menu.
Found on TripAdvisor and booked via TheFork because I was looking for a restaurant not far from Vence with a very good rating.
