A very warm welcome, a small chestnut and mushroom aperitif offered by the house. Impeccable service. The manager is incredibly friendly, she interacts with the customers and makes us feel at ease! The quality is frankly top-notch 👌 The portions are more than satisfactory! And the prices are very reasonable!! A wonderful discovery of this inn, and we will definitely be back!!! The sauerkraut was delicious, the ribeye steak was perfect, and the venison shank was excellent—the meat melted in your mouth, a real treat! I highly recommend you pay a visit to this inn; it's well worth the detour!!!!

Excellent place: typical Alsatian food, very generous portions, fast service, and the owner is incredibly kind! Everything is homemade, quality products at very reasonable prices! We will definitely be back!

Arriving by chance without checking the reviews, we had a great time. The dining room is pleasant, the service fast. My veal chop with chanterelles was tender and tasty, and I appreciated the mixed vegetables on the side (a change from fries!). Expect to pay between €25 and €30 for a meat dish not on the weekday lunch menu. The quality was excellent, and the quantity was sufficient for a normal appetite, but perhaps a little tight for a big eater (?). The gourmet coffee was excellent (homemade tart, fruit, chocolate mousse) and inexpensive. A good experience for us, we'd happily return.

A quick meal after the Photo Expo in Sainte Marie aux Mines. Warm welcome, very pleasant atmosphere, excellent service, and a fantastic grilled veal chop with chanterelles. Melting, flavorful, and accompanied by crispy garden vegetables (beetroot, zucchini, turnips, carrots, Romanesco cabbage, etc.). Surprising (many ordinary customers would have preferred fries, phew) but truly excellent. Congratulations to the entire team. It was fantastic. Thank you to Chef Jean Paul Barth for this excellent meal.

Hotel Restaurant Beysang

02/03/2026: I spent three wonderful weeks at the Beysang. The rooms are fantastic, very cozy, and the food is simply incredible. I highly recommend it and will definitely be back. Thank you to the owner for her wonderful hospitality!
15/02/2026: A wonderful surprise! Passing through, we stopped at this restaurant, and what a pleasant surprise it was! The dishes are simple yet delicious. The service was quick, incredibly friendly, and attentive. We were welcomed with delicious creamy soups, followed by tartiflette with Munster cheese, and finally, blueberry tart. A real treat in a truly unique setting—go and see for yourself! 😉 I highly recommend it!

Hotel Dontenville

21/12/2025: Beautiful heritage hotel in a beautiful town. Despite arriving late we were warmly greeted by the hotel staff who made sure we had the best possible experience. We could park our car for free in the car park next to the hotel . The rooms were comfortable and cosy, the staircase is magnificent with lots of delightful historical features. The restaurant on site is very pleasant where we had a very tasty breakfast. It's a great spot for families, our children loved the hotel and we had a unique experience learning about the history and practicing french. The owners gave us a lot of great tips for sightseeing in Alsace and we ended up having a great holiday. Thank you!
19/12/2025: This is the place to be! A very charming and cozy inn at the heart of the dreamy Chatenois. It is so pretty all around, the bed is super comfortable, amazing views, very warm and attentive staff. Loved every minute here.
