Highly recommend and will visit again. We visited for a late lunch on a beautiful sunny afternoon. The food was outstanding, as well as the service. Our server Ryan was attentive, polite and prompt. We ordered a tomato salad and escargot for starters, steak and fish of the day as main dishes and the pear tart for dessert.

Those sensitive to air conditioning may want to mention this early on. At our request, it was switched on and off several times.
The restaurant wasn't bad overall; the rack of lamb could have been better (Hotel Bebber in Aachen), the steak was good, the pepper sauce a bit thin but spicy. The fried frog legs must have been frozen; they tasted OK, but a bit too much fat/oil. The recommended tomato salad—admittedly not small—was very good, but at €26, it was the most expensive we've ever eaten. The Tronquoy Lanlande 2012 is highly recommended.

The problem is that we wanted to eat the chicken with peepholes but since our reservation was at 1:45 they can't do it for us because it takes 45 minutes but when making the reservation they should clarify it. We ate lamb ribs that were very good and we made a reservation they should for another day at night to eat the chicken.

A typical old-fashioned brasserie.
The dishes are classic and well-prepared, with a great deal of effort put into the sauces and seasoning. As often mentioned, the egg mayonnaise is indeed excellent and worth the detour.
One small drawback is the service: it was quite slow even though the room was almost empty.

The Cassoulet was perfect. The fish was also great. The first I came to the restaurant was 30 years ago, 1995. In 2006 I celebrated my birthday at the restaurant, with my daughter. And last year I introduced the restaurant to my French friends.
So, I do appreciate it.
