The lighting could be improved; it's a bit dreary. The food is classic and well-prepared. Wines by the glass are a bit pricey but good quality. A comfortable place. A cozy country inn in the 7th arrondissement of Paris. Tradition has its merits.

It's still as delicious as ever and the wine list remains extensive, but I do miss the sausage basket and dessert trolley from several years ago. The French atmosphere has faded somewhat.

This is about my 7th visit over the years. Chicken is superb. Mashed potatoes are smooth and creamy. Nice selection of desserts. Always take a group of 10 or more and they are most accommodating.

One of the best restaurants in Paris to taste traditional dishes, very well made: cooking, sauces, side dishes, seasoning, freshness, quality of selected products and very good wines.

The Tea Caddy

07/03/2026: A very good tea room, with a wide selection of teas/infusions and homemade pastries. A pleasant experience; we'll be back to try the brunch.
23/01/2026: The decor was extremely basic, we waited 40 minutes to be served even though the restaurant wasn't full, and the waiter's remark was rather unpleasant. Disappointing.
