A real old-fashioned bistro, like there were in the Les Halles district. Authentic and copious food, a wine list to match and without inflation, with service that is both attentive and familiar, an alchemy that is lost... and which cannot be improvised!
Would not change a thing...! it's called probity and authenticity

Arrived early for a dinner reservation at 9PM and was quite surprised we were given a table straightaway.
Ordered 6 mains but unfortunately 3 of the 6 were no longer available after a couple of trips and ‘I’m sorrys’ from the lovely waiter. Not really fussed about this but staff should’ve been made aware of which dishes are no longer available so that expectations are set correctly.
Food was amazing though, we had the duck leg confit, beef tenderloin, beef angus filet, and lamb chops.
Must visit if you’re in Paris.

The server was borderline with inappropriate remarks
our 3 plates were placed on another table then brought back to ours, telling us that they had not been touched...
The mash was not the truffle one, the beef fillet had a taste and was of an unacceptable size considering the price!
The same waiter seemed surprised that we didn't have dessert: more insolence in his manner.
I strongly advise against this place for tourists who do not know good food.
The chocolate mousse isn't good either.
When leaving after speaking with a waiter, the latter recognizes that the Easter weekend is complicated in terms of service!
Truly an evening to forget very quickly
I would really like to be able to talk with the owner of this establishment.

Perfectly executed classic French cuisine. Beautiful use of local product. The very best of all the beautiful meals we had on vacation. My daughter, a culinary student, was moved to tears. Très magnifique!

I have been coming to this restaurant since I was a little girl (around 50 years). I would arrive from the United States every summer and my French grandparents would take me here for the duck confit and the meat charcuterie to start (It was wheeled on a big cart back then. Eye popping!). It was so delicious then, and 50 years later it is still sooooo delicious! Now my children (most in their mid 20’s) can’t wait to come to France to go to D’Chez Eux! This restaurant has always been the one I would tell my friends to go to when coming to Paris (My personal French connection). This last visit I saw quite a few tourists. I guess the word is out! Lol
