L'Auberge de la Buissonnière sur Leers

A spontaneous restaurant visit led us to Tendance et Fraîcheur. It had been a while since our last visit. A warm welcome, polite and smiling staff. The staff knows their dishes well and gives excellent recommendations. Flemish carbonnade and a Spanish platter were a pure delight. And the white chocolate mousse... simply divine. Everything is fresh; you can see and taste it. We had a wonderful time. We'll be back to see next month's menu.

We came to eat last night (table of 8), overall we had a good time, the setting is very nice, there is a good selection, we are well served, the food is good. However, I'd like to make a small observation. Our table was cleared quite quickly (there was still some left in our glasses, and we weren't asked if we'd finished). There were three or four tables left, and we felt that the sooner we could leave, the better. It was a Thursday, a summer evening, and it wasn't midnight; customers naturally want to take their time. When it came time to pay, the cashier's welcome was very cold. We asked for one last drink and split the bill, so there were several of us to pay. It was clear that this bothered him and that he wanted us to leave as quickly as possible—not a great way to end the evening. My aim isn't to leave a bad review, but I feel I must mention it because, while I understand that the sooner you can get home, the better, in the restaurant business, it's inevitable that some tables will linger a little, and the goal isn't to make customers feel that way. It's the last image we retain and it inevitably leaves a bitter taste that doesn't encourage us to return... and that's a shame because everything else is great.

Everything went well, we were on the terrace, very pleasant, the service was perfect, the food was beautifully presented, the quality was there.
