A wonderful experience at this restaurant! The sole meunière was excellent, and the Charolais beef was absolutely delicious. The staff is very kind and attentive: they even offered to put our cycling water bottles in the fridge, a real bonus after a ride! A place to recommend without hesitation if you enjoy eating by the water.

A wonderful evening. The food was excellent. I highly recommend the foie gras, but the lobster with its sauce and vegetables was also perfect. The setting is beautiful and peaceful. The staff was incredibly attentive. A big thank you for the thoughtful touch with dessert for my birthday. A very good and beautiful gourmet restaurant.

The service was very friendly and provided thorough explanations for each dish. They regularly asked if everything was alright. They could have done with less frequent requests. But, to be fair, everything was fine.

18/05/2026: A truly memorable culinary experience with the asparagus menu and a perfect pairing of exceptional wines. Unbeatable value for money in Givet, and cooked with passion and love. Impeccable service and we learned a great deal about preparing asparagus. Thank you for everything, and we look forward to returning very soon for truffles and other culinary discoveries! 05/05/2026: We had a fantastic evening at this atmospheric and friendly small restaurant. Touring the area we had noticed that a lot of restaurants just have the same generic menu La Cuisine du 19 certainly isn’t and is a step above. The owner and his wife made it a memorable meal. The owner is extremely knowledgeable about wines and we must of tried at least 8 wines over the evening ( luckily not driving anywhere!) each one was paired to the dishes we chose. The food was simple but great. Highly recommend.

07/06/2026: Delighted with my time spent by the Meuse River; the setting is magnificent. The service was impeccable, the meal very satisfying, lovely terrace with pergola, LED lighting, heating, and music.
