L'auberge du Lyonnais sur Annecy

A wonderful restaurant in Annecy that we return to whenever we can! The vegetables were excellent, and my husband’s tartare was absolutely delicious. They even offer fresh citrus slices for the water, which is such a lovely touch. The children’s menus are delicious too, with very good-quality meat and fresh fries. I had the vitello tonnato, and it was magnificent, with a wonderfully rich and flavorful sauce. The service was attentive and professional, and the staff looked very elegant in their perfectly clean white uniforms. The whole restaurant is spotless, refined, and welcoming. The desserts were just as delicious. We ordered ice cream for the children, and I had a beautiful flan with raspberries. Definitely worth trying! For me, this is one of the most complete restaurants in Annecy: elegant, excellent food, attentive service, and very reasonable prices. Everything was delicious!

I did not stay at the hotel. I had dinner at the restaurant. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. The asparagus entree was delicious and refreshing. Duck fillet served with black garlic crust was memorable. I had not had duck served that way before. Too, the crème brûlée was inventive, lighter than most, and a wonderful way to end the meal. The restaurant is lovely and located along the main canal, so very picturesque. My server was helpful and quietly attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!

We will reflect this on trip advisor as we could not fault your hotel. We observed all staff to go above and beyond to make guests welcome. Of the 3 nights that we stayed we had 2 evening meals with you as the food/wine was high quality. Bruno served us and was very professional with attention to detail. All staff deserve a big thank you and hope we haven’t missed anyone out. Chloe, Ines, Louise and Lilly all very helpful. Sabri gets a special mention as he looked after all our empty wine glasses making sure they were filled and was so smart and professional. Thank you everyone. We will be recommending your hotel to any one visiting Annecy. Look forward to returning.

Me and my boyfriend went in for dinner. I ordered the Roasted turbot fillet and my boyfriend took the octopus. The fish was perfectly cooked and the sauce was absolutely delicious. I barely eat octopus as I didnt like the taste but after tasting the dish served, I might change my mind on that. We finished off the dinner with a crème brûlée. And that was very delicious as well. Staff was very efficient and sweet. Great overall ambience. Definitely worth trying if you visiting town.

Beautiful location, attentive staff. The rooms were very big. The breakfast was huge and delicious every morning. Location was great right next to the canals and next to old town, short walk to the lake. The bathroom is rolling door so it does not latch so you could hear everything is the only thing I’d change. Will definitely be recommending to friends and families and would not hesitate to stay there again!

Every single one of the staff and team at the ADL were amazing… always very friendly and wanting to help. I’ve never know a team of people all be so helpful. The location is perfect for the old town and the lake, and love the hotel position in the corner of the river. It’s so nice sitting on the outside bar area relaxing with one of the wonderful cocktails made by the bar team. And the food is exceptional, and a great wine list. My wife and I had such a relaxing time at the hotel and that is mainly thanks to not only the quality of the food but also how welcomed the team made us feel… the wonders should feel very proud of this hotel and the team that served them… thank you, from Gareth and Nina.

Came for lunch on a Friday. Food and service were wonderful. Ask for an exterior table to enjoy the sun and the canals. Extremely accessible for gluten intolerance with clear menu guides - I added a note when booking and the staff made sure to raise when we arrived. Multiple options on menu
