L'Auberge du Thym sur Lastours

We visited the castles of Lastours, on this November day it was the only restaurant open. Contrary to the various particularly harsh opinions, the welcome was pleasant, the service fast, the meal very good for a very reasonable price. The only downside is the quantities of food, which are a little light.

Delicious lunch and very friendly owner. Everything is home made and all the vegetables are grown in the garden across from the restaurant. Great experience!

Delicious home-cooked meals and a very pleasant terrace. We had the pleasure of being very well received after our visit to the castles of Lastour, when it was already 2:15 p.m. for lunch. Our drinks arrived very quickly (we already had a carafe of water upon our arrival), which was appreciable, given our thirst after this beautiful walk in the sun. The homemade dishes were excellent (the gazpacho is a real delight) with vegetables from the garden grown right in front of the riverside restaurant! The children's menu is a small portion of a dish from the menu, which is rare and a change from the usual minced steak/fries. The children loved it. The waiter is very friendly and gave us lots of good advice for swimming and activities with the children. The terrace is beautiful and pleasant. In short, we had a great time and had a very good lunch. I recommend this restaurant 100%!

Good little restaurant with a magnificent view, no problems with the service contrary to the negative reviews posted about it. The waiter gave us good advice, the dishes were excellent and in very good quantity, especially given the really cheap price: €23 for starter, main course and dessert. All the dishes are homemade and the organic vegetables come from their garden.
