A wonderful experience at Auberge Saint Pierre! The food was delicious, the service attentive, and the atmosphere truly delightful. And the icing on the cake: an adorable cat that wanders peacefully through the dining room and comes to cuddle, which completely won my heart. A place where you feel comfortable and want to return. I highly recommend it! 😺🧡

Honestly, I don't understand the bad reviews some people have left. We received a superb welcome, and they were also incredibly kind to our dog. The restaurant has a unique decor that gives it a lot of charm. We ate very well, with carefully prepared and delicious dishes. This place deserves high praise!

Passing through Saumur, we discovered this inn on market day. The meal was delicious, slow-cooked, and generous. We thoroughly enjoyed everything from the appetizer to the dessert, including the main course. The original and very pleasant decor adds to the charm of what is meant by an inn. An address to remember.

While in Saumur for two days, I was tempted by this restaurant with its warm atmosphere, and I was completely won over! The meat was excellent and generous, as were the sauces and new potatoes, although I would have liked a little more of the latter. The service was fast and efficient. I also enjoyed the interaction with the staff. The gentleman simply has his own sense of humor and isn't mean. You have to be a little tolerant and open-minded when it comes to those who complain about this. The lady is also very friendly! Regarding the cat in the restaurant, I really don't understand the comments from people who are bothered by it. It's very discreet and doesn't bother anyone, especially since we're talking about a cat, a very clean animal; it's not a pig wandering around the restaurant either... In short, I had a great time, and I ate very well, and that's the most important thing when you come to a restaurant, so thank you!

If you want to eat well without breaking the bank, go for it. The 18-euro menu is delicious and makes you want to go back to try the other menus! I've never eaten better chicken and fries. The chicken is juicy with a stunning flavor, and the homemade fries are delicious. The cider-infused ham is to die for! My husband had a gouline (a Saumur specialty), which he loved. The restaurant's decor is also stunning! The waitress is very friendly. A big thank you to the chef!!!

Just at the bar. It's impossible to pay cash in August. €16 on a €50 bill... They tell me there's no cash float 😅 Use the card instead... Meh. Personally, if I don't have change, I deal with the neighbors, not the customer! But the little wine is good 😁
