Unfortunately, the quality is far too inconsistent. Sometimes it's perfect, and other times it's a huge disappointment; pastries often lack freshness—the pastry is soggy, the icing is dull, etc. Given the prices, one has the right to expect more consistent freshness and quality.

Friendly and cheerful welcome and sells excellent pastries. There's a small air conditioned seating area where you can enjoy them with a hot or cold drink. Probably the best patisserie we visited in Saumur

11/07/2026: A pleasant restaurant on Rue Saint-Jean. It's not fine dining, but it's a comfortable place. The waitresses are very friendly and do their best to minimize the wait time. And the setting is great.
11/07/2026: We had a delicious meal. The baba rum was very tasty. Very friendly service, the chairs were a bit hard, but it's a really great place to enjoy a nice meal.

26/04/2026: Overall, a decent stay with a few points for improvement. The room was spacious and very quiet, which was a plus. However, a major drawback was the bedding: the mattress was very uncomfortable, causing back pain and preventing us from sleeping well. This is especially disappointing given that the establishment advertises quality bedding. The door insulation could also be improved. We were also surprised to find our "Do Not Disturb" sign removed twice by the neighboring room, which was inconvenient. We didn't try the breakfast, but having a kettle in the room was a convenient bonus. In short, a decent stay, but the bedding definitely needs to be replaced.
