So I don't understand the Google rating and reviews, on a weekend in Saumur, we stopped by chance for lunch. Excellent Easter meal and very good atmosphere. Don't change😃👍

We came for lunch on Easter Sunday and the meal was exceptional!
From starter to dessert it was really plentiful and very good.
Special mention for the rum crème brûlée, which was truly incredible!

Bar Restaurant located in the city center of Saumur. Good reception, welcoming room. There is a nice catalog of wines (terms used by the waiter), but the prices are quite high. We chose a dish of the day: The pork ribs were dry, the mushrooms charred and the gratin dauphinois greasy and above all overcooked. We appreciated the commercial gesture...the beer was tasty and fresh. Our good memory of 2022 has faded.

Very warm welcome, very friendly waiters.

Nice little restaurant with very French dishes.
Nice atmosphere with the owner who sings a little while serving the dishes and who has a lot of humor.
On Sunday lunchtime don't look anywhere else, there is only this restaurant open and so it fills up quickly.

Second visit: still perfect, a real treat. The menu is truly astonishing and allows you to experiment and taste new flavors. The servers are very pleasant, smiling, and the boss is very friendly.
Superb experience! The dishes are plentiful (a little too much for me personally ^^) and delicious. I highly recommend the beef fillet tataki, which won us both over from the first bite.

Very good French cuisine with a very successful humorous menu!
The zander fillet and the beef chuck delighted our taste buds - the products are fresh -, accompanied by good regional wines.
The service was impeccable, and very friendly. This is the second time I have come to this establishment and I will definitely return there on my next visit to Saumur!
