A pleasant restaurant on Rue Saint-Jean. It's not fine dining, but it's a comfortable place. The waitresses are very friendly and do their best to minimize the wait time. And the setting is great.

We had a delicious meal. The baba rum was very tasty. Very friendly service, the chairs were a bit hard, but it's a really great place to enjoy a nice meal.

We thoroughly enjoyed a pleasant and relaxing lunch on May 1st. The owner took excellent care of us and answered our questions about wineries to visit in the area. The dishes were delicious and generous. I highly recommend this little restaurant. The duck and fish parmentiers, as well as the duck mousse and snails, were all fresh and homemade.

I went there based on previous reviews, but there's been a change of ownership. The food is no longer refined. It's rushed. Well-made? I'm not so sure. Let's just say mediocre. The shepherd's pie was dry. The desserts were bought from the baker next door and sold for twice the price. Prices are too high for the quality. Would I go back? Never.

26/04/2026: Overall, a decent stay with a few points for improvement. The room was spacious and very quiet, which was a plus. However, a major drawback was the bedding: the mattress was very uncomfortable, causing back pain and preventing us from sleeping well. This is especially disappointing given that the establishment advertises quality bedding. The door insulation could also be improved. We were also surprised to find our "Do Not Disturb" sign removed twice by the neighboring room, which was inconvenient. We didn't try the breakfast, but having a kettle in the room was a convenient bonus. In short, a decent stay, but the bedding definitely needs to be replaced.
