L'auberge sans nom sur Chaource

We came on holiday and enjoyed some excellent burgers!! The staff is very attentive and the setting is very pleasant 🙃 It's a shame this restaurant isn't closer to home! 😇

Excellent lunch today. The lentil tiramisu was superb, and the andouillettes were fantastic. No surprise, given their origin. A real treat! Don't hesitate!

A remarkable restaurant for the quality of its dishes: local and homemade cuisine. The dining room is tastefully decorated, and the terrace is also very pleasant. The service is impeccable. I highly recommend it.

Passing through on my way to Burgundy for a few days, I asked if it was still possible to have lunch (it was 2 pm on Sunday), and they had no problem with the kitchen's capacity. The meal was excellent, the welcome very warm, and the staff very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend it.

Nice, well-decorated restaurant. Excellent foie gras, very good Chaource burger. Friendly welcome, pleasant terrace, service rather average (a bit slow). Overall, satisfied.

We were here last July and were spoken to in a really unfriendly manner by an employee. We believe in second chances and went to eat here yesterday. The owner couldn't have been friendlier, and the food was delicious! We will be back here more often!!

What a shame, it was my fourth visit and everything had been fine until now. Unfortunately, this time: the menus on the website didn't match the menu shown, and three dishes we ordered were either unavailable or had been changed. "The owner should have done it, I'll check." We ordered sparkling wines as an aperitif, and the response was, "We're in Champagne here, go to Burgundy for sparkling wine!" (And for Chablis too, I suppose?) And, "We don't have certain wines by the glass because they don't come in bag-in-box! And you can't taste wine by the glass!" "Don't put the water bottle on the table, it stains, put it on the saucer." And all this in a particularly dismissive tone! It's a shame when the service ruins the quality of the food.

For lunch, The calf's head was barely warm, rather tough, and there were only three measly pieces of carrot and potato. A shame. The terrine as a starter and the fromage blanc for dessert were very good.

Friendly welcome, reasonably priced lunch menu. The interior has a modern, minimalist feel, while the terrace is more traditional. The service sometimes seems a bit overwhelmed (probably due to general staff shortages), but friendly and attentive.
