Great restaurant. I went in the evening in July around 7:30 pm. There was no one inside, which was fantastic. The atmosphere is lovely because the place is beautiful; there's even a large painting directly on one wall with a detailed and realistic Aveyron landscape. The painting is truly beautiful with lovely colors. Up close, you can clearly see the brushstrokes. It's very interesting, I must emphasize that. The playlist they were playing was varied and not at all intrusive, in my opinion. The staff is welcoming, friendly, kind, and attentive. And I must admit, I had a crush on one of the waitresses. As for the food: I had a large burger, and I think it's great value; for €18.50, you get a good burger with good meat, good cheese, good fries, and a good salad (I tried to photograph the layers). I saw on the website that the meat is locally sourced, with a very short supply chain, and it shows—the products aren't industrial at all. Proof of this is the bacon in my burger: there were pieces of cartilage in it. It didn't bother me; the rest was perfect. For the price, I think it's incredibly good value. For dessert, the chocolate cake was absolutely delicious. I emphasize "delicious"—again, if you have a sweet tooth, don't hesitate. The entire meal, including my mint syrup (also very good), cost just under €30. I've also included photos of other dishes and desserts because they're also very good. In short, if you want a good restaurant or to eat Aveyron cuisine, come here.

We stumbled upon a place at L'Aubrac while wandering the streets of Rodez. A warm welcome, pleasant service, and an excellent meal. We highly recommend it.

We dined here the other day and we chose to sit outside but well shaded with the parasols. All the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming and genuinely so rather than putting on a fake smile. We chose the formule de midi for two courses which was €14.80 per person, a very good price for a historic city centre location. Our starters were very tasty and I had a very good portion of jambon de pays. For our main course we chose the horse steak (actually more of a burger) and this was very tasty and served with very good chips. An absolute stand out piece of service was that our bread basket was changed with a fresh one for each course in case it had dried out in the heat - something that few restaurants ever do, even those costing much more. Our water jug was also changed several times to keep it cool, thank you for such attentive and considerate service. With two beers and a coffee our total bill was about €37. I can only say that this restaurant proved itself to be great value for money and also an absolute pleasure to visit - bravo to all concerned. PS the toilets were immaculate as well.

We loved this charming restaurant in the heart of Rodez. A warm welcome and impeccable service. The waitresses were very friendly. The food was excellent and flavorful, made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Truly authentic regional cuisine. Well done to the whole team!
