We had a wonderful time today and can only commend the entire team at this lovely restaurant: the meal was delicious from start to finish (the scallops were divine!), the service was always friendly and attentive, in short, a huge thank you to everyone! We'll be back soon...

Excellent experience, as always! The meat is cooked to perfection, and the dishes are original! Special mention for the veal with cognac and truffle, served with absolutely delicious sweet potato purée! The staff is conscientious, highly professional, and very pleasant! A wonderful restaurant in the Limousin region.

A lovely restaurant, the bistro's daily menu was excellent. Even my 5 and 8-year-old children (who ate with us) finished everything! We'll definitely be back. Thank you!

A Prestige gift from our children. We would have appreciated a clearer explanation of what we were entitled to (especially regarding the aperitifs and coffee). The wait between aperitifs and starters was a bit long. So, the service could have been improved that day, but the food was still excellent. The owner always gives great advice on food and wine pairings.

We went there for the first time for the Valentine's Day menu. I was so happy to know I'd be going back to experience the chef's cuisine! It was delicious. The staff is very professional and friendly. Thank you! 😊

We had a wonderful time at this beautiful establishment (the new decor is a success). A very warm welcome, efficient service, and original, subtle, and delicious dishes. We opted for the wine pairing: excellent wines, selected with precision and innovation (for example, we were offered red wine with the fish, a delightful discovery). We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves from beginning to end! They also have a mineral water and coffee menu! We will definitely be back!

A wonderful time spent with friends. I'm never disappointed. We were hesitating over the butternut squash and ginger soup, but no worries, we were given a small glass to taste before making our choice. We thoroughly enjoyed our duck parmentier with its incredibly flavorful sauce. We'll gladly return.

An excellent experience, without taking many risks based on the reviews. We thoroughly enjoyed the bistro menu. The quality and quantity were both excellent. The owner is lovely and comes to chat with his customers. A special mention for his dog! A restaurant you absolutely must visit! It's a shame we were only passing through.

17/05/2026: This modest sized restaurant feels very spacious inside due to the unusual white pine panelling. The staff are very friendly and welcoming and the ambience is relaxed. I started with the duo of foie gras de canard which was excellent! Two pieces were chilled slices and two pieces were grilled “crème brulée” with a layer of sugar on top. Most creative as the cooked foie gras becomes the ‘cream’ - brilliant! My main course was veal kidneys (always a treat in France as you never see them on the menu in England) in garlic and parsley butter. Also very good, though slightly spoiled by the fact that the garde manger forgot to wash the lettuce (lots of gravel crunching - not good). The bread here is fantastic! Everything I visit France for. Dessert was a novel take on tiramisu involving crème chantilly, apples and pineau des Charentes in place of coffee and Marsala. Not really a success, but a noble failure.
