A very charming and lovely restaurant run by a husband and wife team. It feels like a family meal, and they cater to every need. Despite our large group with varying preferences, all the food was served simultaneously. Highly recommended!

At this small, very characteristic restaurant, as is our custom, we ordered the plat du jour: beef carpaccio with olives, capers, onion, dried tomatoes, gorgonzola, and salad. Truly fresh and appetizing, made with quality ingredients. Great attention to service and friendliness. We'll be back, perhaps for a bourride. It's a shame they don't accept cards. CASH ONLY.

14/08/2026: We had a wonderful time... a delicious meal, excellent cook, and Christine was a very friendly, fun-loving, and professional waitress. We highly recommend it... terrace or personalized interior with hanging Strega lamps. And all this in a quiet little street in the village of Fayence. Thank you, Strega! 👍😀😀👍

15/06/2026: We went to a musical evening. It was wonderful. The food and service were first class. We really enjoyed the music. Castellaras is a very special restaurant in a lovely location overlooking Fayence and the valley.
