Le Bagatelle Restaurant sur Saint-Tropez

Ideally located at the foot of the church in the heart of the village, this restaurant will win you over with the professionalism of the staff, their warm welcome, and simply excellent food.

The real Saint-Tropez! The pasta with clams is incredible. We loved having dinner overlooking the village church. The service was 5/5. Thank you, Guillaume and Lina!

The food was good, but the service was much more mixed—perhaps it was just an off day. There was no children's menu, nor any suitable options when we asked: apparently, a 4-year-old is expected to eat like an adult. The €8 Ricard was a surprising addition to the bill, even in St. Tropez. I'm still giving it 3 stars because we enjoyed the food, but clearly, we won't be back for the reasons mentioned above. No big deal, in St. Tropez, they've clearly figured out that customer loyalty isn't a priority 😉

A lovely little restaurant tucked away in a village alley. The fish soup on the daily special is a generous portion, as are the lasagnas, and the mussels are a good size—neither too big nor too small. Good value for money. €26 for a starter/main or main/dessert on the daily special is a good deal. Friendly staff.

Good value for money (set menu at €26 per person for a starter and main course OR a main course and dessert). Very good Tarte Tropézienne (from Les Deux Frères bakery). Quick service, but not the friendliest. I still recommend it.

A nice little restaurant at the foot of the church in Saint Tropez, offering a set menu of starter + main course or main course + dessert at a reasonable price. The products are fresh and the homemade lasagne was excellent. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I recommend it!

We came to Le Bagatelle yesterday and have always thoroughly enjoyed dining there in recent years. For us, it was a warm and romantic place with excellent cuisine. The quality of the food remains impeccable, and the owner is as welcoming and attentive as ever. However, the owner seemed very stressed and in a bad mood. My wife even found him slightly aggressive at times. We felt that his priority was to serve as many tables as possible and increase revenue, rather than giving his customers time and attention. At the end of the meal, he first asked us if the tip could be given in cash, then added, "That's all?" We found this remark very inappropriate. For us, a tip should always be a spontaneous gesture, never an expectation expressed in this way. It's a real shame, because we had very fond memories of this restaurant. We sincerely hope it was just an off day. However, we have decided not to return for this season.
