A real gem! A truly nostalgic meal; the chef transported me back to my childhood farm with his caillette, a dish worthy of the Ardèche tradition. A small, intimate dining room, quality ingredients enhanced by the chef's pasta—a quality meal at a good price! A place to discover and share!

A typical bistro that deserves to be better known (and recognized). The menu is varied. The portions are generous and the quality is very good. Impeccable service, a very friendly owner, and you leave with a full stomach after a pleasant meal. What more could you ask for?

A nice family restaurant with a French atmosphere. I ate the dish that gives the restaurant its name: barboton. Lamb baked with vegetables. The meat was tender, the dish very good. When we arrived around 1 p.m., the place was empty, and within fifteen minutes it suddenly filled up.

Excellent location, quality traditional cuisine. Excellent value for money. 4 people and 4 different dishes, all well-made. The only downside was the noise, as the table behind us was extremely noisy.

29/01/2026: An absolutely delightful experience at this restaurant. First, a most welcoming reception, followed by extremely attentive service. Suffering from severe food intolerances that can be particularly difficult in restaurants, the chef simply came out of the kitchen to understand my needs and instinctively created a personalized menu for me. Beyond the professionalism and kindness, the taste was more than exceptional! Fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned! I was won over from beginning to end. Thank you for this simply perfect moment, in my opinion.
04/11/2025: Nice elegant quiet (except for one cackling laugh from another diner) setting. Food was served fairly fast for French standard. I had the set menu and a glass of wine and the bill came to 43 Euros but that was after a mistake where my bill was 90+ Euros.
