I was there at the end of January, so it was a bit of a blast. The service was not the best, I think they were a bit bouquety. The food was decent and when I paid I got 5 euros less. I didn't leave a normal tip. It’s a mountain restaurant, you have to do it at least once.

Very efficient service with always a smile from the team. Very, very good value for money for a meal on the slopes. A very varied menu with mountain dishes and also a great suggestion of desserts. Everything is very plentiful. In short, a very good time.

We had lunch at the Barjo restaurant and I was able to taste Berthoud there, which I didn't know.
And what a discovery it was, a pure delight!

A restaurant in the Vars resort in the middle of the ski area. We come back with pleasure because this restaurant offers typical Queyras dishes that are not found in high-altitude restaurants.
A very pleasant sun terrace and a ski lift which allows you to get back on the slopes after a good meal. This restaurant also offers evening dining but being in Risoul, I have never been able to try this restaurant at night.

Honestly, we stopped by chance (because it was snowing heavily so we didn't want to picnic our sandwiches 😁) and we didn't regret it! We feasted ! Of all the high-altitude restaurants in Vars, this is our favorite! Very good cuisine, very friendly welcome, and speed of service. I recommend.
