We had lunch at Barjo on Monday, March 16th, and had a wonderful time! Enjoying lunch on the sunny terrace was a real treat! The service was perfect! The dishes we chose were delicious and beautifully presented! I had the Caesar salad, which was very generous and flavorful! My partner had the burger, which was good but pricey for a burger. The blueberry tart was fantastic, with the shortbread base and whipped cream arranged like a Christmas tree – a lovely presentation! The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We highly recommend it! 😊

The snack bar is nice, and the prices are quite reasonable for a mountain restaurant, but it's a real shame to leave the waitress alone to take and prepare orders. The wait is therefore very long, even though she does her best.

09/04/2026: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Hotel Alpage. It's very well located. The welcome was excellent, with staff taking great care of us. We felt very comfortable there. The common areas are spacious. We loved the mulled wine by the fireplace. We ate very well. The breakfast was very generous. The spa in the evening after a day of skiing was a real bonus. We will definitely be back.
14/03/2026: A very cozy hotel, right at the foot of the slopes (5-minute walk) in Vars Sainte Marie, with charming managers and top-notch staff. The food is also flawless. Go for it!
