A wonderful discovery last Saturday, without having made a reservation. Consider making one anyway. The daily special, a fish dish, was delicious! The expectations were well-deserved, as the dish was prepared with care. The cooking was perfect! Clearly, many regulars return frequently. The dessert was also superb! The service was very professional. I will gladly return on my next visits to Bayonne.

Excellent home cooking. The flavors are all there: bisque, vanilla custard. The shellfish and fish dishes are very well prepared, both in taste and presentation. Attentive service and welcome. A place you'll want to return to for another delicious meal. Thank you very much.

A place to discover or rediscover without hesitation. A warm and inviting atmosphere, ideally located on the banks of the Nive River. Everything is delicious, from the tapas to the desserts. My personal favorite was the crispy pork and foie gras. It was a pleasure chatting with the chef and his wife.

Le Bayonnais is simply a must-try in Bayonne. Refined, seasonal cuisine bursting with flavor… So good that you always leave completely won over. What more can be said, except that everything is truly perfect: the welcome, the food, the atmosphere. An address not to be missed!

18/03/2026: The food was very satisfying. I went in around 12 pm on a Saturday, so it wasn't crowded. The squid risotto had plenty of cheese, and the meat dish had a delicious sauce that I soaked up with bread. It was a taste I would definitely want to repeat.
05/03/2026: We had the pleasure of trying this brasserie for their reopening in the evenings. Not only did we eat very well (high-quality ingredients, expertly prepared with generous portions), but above all, the entire team was lovely, very welcoming, and attentive. We had a wonderful girls' night out. I highly recommend it!
