I had an exceptional time at Baï. More than just a restaurant, it's a truly human experience: you're welcomed with genuine warmth and a soul that you feel in every detail, from the decor to the interactions with the family who run the place. The dishes are absolutely delicious, refined, generous in flavor, and prepared with great care. It's rare that a place makes me forget my phone because the atmosphere is so authentic and welcoming. A gem of a place, with very reasonable prices for such high-quality cuisine—go without hesitation. Thank you, Baï!

A very warm welcome, my first experience in a Senegalese restaurant, and I loved it! The setting, the cozy atmosphere, the aperitif, main course, dessert, coffee, background music, and decor were all fantastic. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Vive la Senegal! There Were only three dishes on the menu but each one delicious. The puddings were worth repeating too… The atmosphere is nice and welcoming and our host was a champion. Definitely worth a trip!

I ate mafé here about ten years ago, and I've had a few others since then, all over France and other European countries, including one today that just reminded me and confirmed that the best I've ever had was at Baï's... Thanks again, I hope to have the opportunity to come back...

What a find! Takeout order, excellent service, a Bissap (hibiscus tea), a chicken mafé! The Bissap is just perfect, you can really taste the hibiscus, very rich! Homemade! And the mafé is just as good, excellent, a great peanut flavor! Homemade (French meat) I highly recommend it!

13/05/2026: A surprising place with great vibes! The food is fantastic, with original and healthy dishes! All this in a setting that revolves around records (no pun intended). What could be more fitting, since it's a record store! The owner is also very friendly! He has a great sense of humor and exudes warmth. Everything was perfect. A great find! Thank you.
08/05/2026: Excellent spot, quiet away from the streets of Bayonne, very pretty setting! I found a vinyl record there that I've been looking for for ages!

25/04/2026: A perfect experience at Patxamama, even without a lunch reservation! I was the only one there, but the lovely team managed to find me a table with a smile, right during the Ham Festival! Excellent service, everyone was so attentive in a wonderfully friendly atmosphere. I had the Bayonne Ham Festival menu: for starters, a perfect egg with asparagus cream, Bayonne ham, and croutons—a perfect balance of textures and flavors, and a delightful contrast of temperatures. For the main course, pork loin with carrot velouté, marinated red cabbage, and a rich jus—tender and incredibly delicious. The Carrément Chocolat dessert was the perfect ending to the meal. Everything was delicious; this place deserves all the stars. I highly recommend it. Thank you, and see you soon!
