Beautiful place, lovely restaurant with a good selection, very pleasant service. We were served by a lovely mixed-race woman named Swan. Thank you to her for her warm welcome, her smile, and her professionalism. We'll be heading back to another island with wonderful memories. Best of luck to the whole team.

Beautiful restaurant on the port of St. Martin. We encountered a young, rather rude waiter who nervously placed our dishes on the table. We asked him twice for a carafe of water, but never received it. As for the dishes for my three friends, they were relatively good. There were four of us, and I received a large plate with a tiny risotto and three minuscule pieces of skate wing. For a €32 menu, one expects much better... The starters (foie gras, cuttlefish casserole) and desserts were all very good (French toast, apple tart with vanilla ice cream).

The setting on the harbor is fantastic.
The service was nonexistent. A waitress didn't ask if we were ordering drinks or anything else, and didn't sell her dishes. Her colleague came by afterward to collect the empty bottles without even saying hello, not even an apology... Not a word.
The meal was good overall, despite my mussels in cream sauce being half empty with only a spoonful of cream on top. It was just sitting in the water at the bottom... Despite everything, it was still good value for money.

If you're looking for a classic yet incredibly efficient restaurant, Le Belem is a fantastic find. Ideally located just steps from the port, it's the perfect spot for a delicious break during your stroll.
The menu is varied, ensuring there's something for everyone. As for the atmosphere, the staff is particularly friendly and welcoming: you feel at ease from the moment you arrive, making your visit even more enjoyable.
And the icing on the cake: the prices are quite reasonable, especially for such a popular location on Île de Ré!
In short, a reliable establishment that does its job perfectly. We highly recommend it!
