Brasserie Paloise, the kidneys were very good, but the Madeira sauce was much too runny, which is a shame. However, the rum baba was amazing.

A "legend" in Pau, and deservedly so… Parisian brasserie atmosphere and very professional service. A tip: try to arrive as soon as they open to avoid waiting…

A very pleasant surprise tonight at Le Berry! 😊
We had a wonderful time. The staff is really friendly and very attentive, with a special mention for the waitress who took excellent care of us with such kindness.
The dishes are generous and, above all, delicious. I tried the "Bitche" and frankly, it was fantastic! 😋
The large terrace was full, but no regrets: the interior is truly lovely and has all the hallmarks of a great brasserie.
A big thank you to the entire team at Le Berry for this wonderful experience! We highly recommend it, and if we're ever back in Pau, we'll gladly return. 👍😊

The restaurant is very well located, right in the center of Pau. We ordered the steak with foie gras and the croque madame. The steak was very flavorful (a bit too firm for my taste) and the accompanying sauce was delicious. The croque madame is a rich and substantial dish, with the cheese perfectly melted, although the base was a little burnt in some areas. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient; the waitresses were excellent.

A first for me in 16 years in Pau. Le Berry is an institution, and many speak of it as a very good place to eat.
But frankly, it's nothing like what you hear everywhere. Very expensive for small portions. The service was excellent, with very friendly and attentive waiters. Some staff members even put on a show, calling out to customers very loudly. However, the wait for customers, who are seated a meter away from your table on the stairs, is simply unacceptable. It's as if they would have sat down at our table with their drinks... Overall, the service was fine, but the rest was a no-go for me. First and last time. I prefer small, quiet restaurants.
