What can I say about this experience... This restaurant was a wonderful find, a real gem for my husband and me. We never thought we'd come back three times in one week, we loved it so much. Not only is the welcome warm, friendly, and even welcoming, but the dishes are delicious, generous, and homemade. The restaurant is a cozy place where you feel comfortable, not too big. It's not a big, flashy chain, but a small place with a great atmosphere and lovely decor. The first time, we had a truffade and a goat cheese specialty, a real treat. The second time, we were very lucky to be seated at almost 2 pm, after a long walk. A huge thank you for that. The welcome was just as warm. We were able to have a galette and fries and the goat cheese specialty again. And the third time (the only time we booked, and we're so glad we did!), we savored a duck shepherd's pie with local cheese. My mouth is still watering. If we come back next year, we sincerely hope to see you again. A must-visit if you're in Besse! Remember to book ahead as it's small and often full. The restaurant is warmly decorated. The servers are very welcoming and friendly. As for the food, it's excellent. Both the main courses and the desserts are more than delicious! Plus, the prices are reasonable. We'll definitely be back if we return to the area.

A charming little restaurant where the cuisine is delicious and representative of our local produce. The service is impeccable, with attentive waiters and the owner. While the village is beautiful, this restaurant truly captures the spirit of this little corner of the Auvergne.
