What can I say about this restaurant other than go for it, a great encounter with delicious and hearty cuisine, very pretty atmosphere and room, and super nice people. Thank you, see you soon, we will come back to see you.

In one week, we went back 3 times. Go there with your eyes closed. The food is excellent, the service perfect and the team adorable. Looking forward to your next vacation in Besse. THANKS. Martine and Michel

Pffff, what can I say about this restaurant.... Delicious, succulent, perfect... There are 2 services and we reserved for the 2nd because the first was full and ultimately it wasn't any worse because the restaurant without the terrace is very small and so we were able to have a little more peace and quiet. I had a truffade which was served in a pretty pan, my mother-in-law a poultry supreme with morel sauce and my father the duck parmentier mince. Everything was so good, we had a blast!! The quantity of the truffade on the other hand we could eat it for 2 because I didn't manage to finish it 😅 on the other hand I was able to make a doggy bag so great. The waitresses were very pleasant and available. For dessert my father had an Irish Coffee which was well made, my mother-in-law had a faitselle with honey and seeds and I had a salty faitselle (shallots, parsley, cream). Same thing, so good. I 100% recommend this restaurant and I will definitely come back if I am in the area again.

L' Oustaou

25/03/2024: There are three restaurants 30m from each other. Oustalu: dish of the day = filet mignon = top with its pepper sauce, its little ratatouille, its little eggplant fritters, and its little rice slope. Very good. The exterior would benefit from being less austere because it is more in line with the interior. THANKS .
19/03/2024: We were made very welcome and the service was quick. I had a vegetarian burger with a St Nectaire sauce (possibility of having it at Fourme d'Albert). The vegetable steak was very good, the fries are homemade and they were very well salted. We could smell the St Nectaire well and it wasn't too pronounced so it was very good. On the other hand, my mother-in-law couldn't finish her salad because there was too much cheese and Auvergne blue cheese (large pieces) so it quickly became disgusting. My father had a calf's head and unfortunately there was more fat than meat (maybe some like to eat it completely but for those who don't like fat, avoid it), potatoes with Steam on the other hand were good. For dessert my father had a crème brûlée with apple and chestnut liqueur, it smelled of apple but much less of chestnut but it was still good. My mother-in-law and I have an Auvergne coupe with vanilla ice cream, blueberries, coulis and whipped cream and it's good too. Overall I still recommend this restaurant 🙂 the dishes were not too expensive, we had some with 50cl of wine (pitcher) + a coke €79
