We had a wonderful time, it was super warm and friendly, the atmosphere is like being at home, I highly recommend it and I will definitely go back!

This restaurant is a bit out of the way, but just as worthwhile as any of the options in the town center. The prices are the same, the tartiflette and trout tiflette are excellent, and the service is very friendly (with little touches of humor that make you want to go back). We arrived without a reservation and had no trouble finding a table at 7:30 pm (which isn't always the case in Cauterets).

We'd been passing by for ages, and this year we finally decided to go in... We weren't disappointed at all; on the contrary, it's now our go-to cheese shop in Cauterets. The welcome is warm, the value for money is very good, and above all, we appreciate the generous portions (just right). Special mention goes to the Savoyard fondue, which is hard to find in Cauterets in the summer and absolutely delicious!

A great restaurant for cheese lovers (the raclette with local cow's milk cheese was excellent and well-matched, and the classic roasted Camembert was equally delicious)! Unpretentious but with a very friendly welcome and service. We had a lovely time.

The service was very friendly and quite quick between courses. We had a very good meal. The only downside was the number of people, but it's a bistro, so I'm not taking away a star because everything was delicious.

What a fantastic welcome! They even made it rain just for us so we wouldn't be so hot 😂 More seriously, a lovely little restaurant with simple cuisine but quality ingredients. Okay! Raclette right after a heatwave of several days might not have been the best idea, but we were craving it 😜 Thank you for your warm welcome and your smiles, don't change a thing!

16/09/2026: A strange experience. We arrived as a couple. The tables weren't set. The room was huge, not very welcoming, spread over two half-levels. We were crammed downstairs and six people upstairs. The otherwise friendly waiter brought us a chalkboard with a set menu for a main course and dessert for 22 euros. There were starters available, but if you ordered the set menu, you couldn't order a starter separately. Too bad for them. The waiter asked us what we wanted to drink, but we didn't have a menu and he didn't tell us what was available. Finally, we ordered two sangrias. Great, they had some. As for the price, well, that was a surprise. The rump steak was good, but not exceptional, and the fries were good. The dessert was fine. In the end, two coffees and two sangrias came to 14 euros. Not bad. Phew. So there you have it. We ate well, period.

02/09/2026: We came by chance and are very happy with our choice. We opted for the set menu and enjoyed a risotto with prawns of unexpected quality. Perfectly cooked, with just the right seasoning. The chocolate fondant that followed only reinforced our desire to return... the staff are friendly and cheerful, and the prices are reasonable. Thank you to the whole team, we will be back.
01/09/2026: Excellent restaurant, I highly recommend their excellent pizzapero; everything is homemade, which makes it even better.
