Le Bistro Charolais sur Saulieu

Excellent room not too expensive Absolutely adorable manager and very generous breakfast! I recommend this setting of a well-preserved and comfortable old inn!

The day before a long hike, this hotel and its small but very cozy room were perfect. The room has everything you need: hairdryer, kettle, shampoo shower gel and even biscuits with the cups. The lighting is great. The menu is tempting and at affordable prices. Most dishes can be served to you in room service in jars. Good wifi and decent enough TV to watch the Olympics ceremony! Only downside: I had to park my car in a public parking lot during my trip, the manager telling me a prohibitive price for a guarded garage.

Old building with access from the porch to the reception complicated for disabled people. Simple welcome and practical information on nearby access and services. Some decorations and arrangements of the common areas give the history of this address. Room (215) small but functional, with a "chalet" decoration, storage and not very insulated - lets hear the passage in the corridor and noisy with vehicle traffic (unfortunately all night for my stay)
