Excellent restaurant, the dishes are generous and delicious. The service is quick and friendly. The cheese platter is to die for! Plus, it's not too crowded, so the atmosphere on the veranda is relatively calm.

An absolutely exceptional experience at Bistro de l’Octroi in Sarlat! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with rare kindness and warmth. We immediately felt at home, with a caring and passionate team. As for the food, it was simply a delight: we savored absolutely sublime Périgord specialties (a special mention for the duck confit). Each dish was flavorful, generous, and perfectly executed—a true culinary journey! This is an establishment that truly deserves to be known and recognized. It was so good! The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious. We didn't leave a single bite. And considering the price, we were even happy to have paid for it, given the quality. We'll be back!
