SARL MERTZ Roland sur Sarlat-La-Caneda

During our week-long stay in Sarlat, we opted (as during our previous stay) for the breakfast formula, what a treat! Beautiful pastries, squeezed orange juice, yogurt and hot drinks served by Sébastien who was always very pleasant offering us tours etc. Thanks to him and to Laura who manages the establishment with a masterful hand. Very beautiful cakes and chocolates complete the offer.

A childhood memory... the raspberry bushes that we discovered as a family during a picnic on the way to Rocamadour and Padirac... A Proust madeleine that we bought there following each of our visits to Sarlat... The pastry shop has probably changed ownership since then. We did not find the same cake: neither the cream (more compact) nor the top (caramelized differently), however, the cake was very good 😋 and we enjoyed it. My brother was happy for his 52nd birthday 🎉

I love having tea in this pastry shop in the city center. The pastry is delicious, especially the specialty Lascaux II!

Pastry shop and pleasant tea room. I was a little disappointed by my very sweet rum baba with very little alcohol. Otherwise good atmosphere.

Les macarons étaient excellents. Macaron passion et chocolat étaient délicieux.

Lors de notre séjour à Sarlat nous avons découvert cette pâtisserie. Wahou quelle merveille. Tous les gâteaux que nous avons testé étaient excellents. ++++ pour la bûche aux 🍐

L'accueil est correct. Leur chocolat chaud est délicieux pour se réchauffer... Normal, c'est un chocolatier et vous pouvez le déguster avec une patisserie bien au chaud...

Des gens très charmant, et leur chocolat chaud à tomber par terre...Lieu chaleureux, ou l'on peut se poser.
