We were fortunate enough to discover Thierry Schwartz's restaurant during the holiday season, a moment made all the more precious as my parents had come especially from Ukraine to spend the holidays with us. Everything was absolutely remarkable: the finesse of the dishes, the perfect balance of flavors, the respect for the ingredients, and that emotion one feels when cuisine is sincere and heartfelt. Each plate told a story, with great skill but above all, with a great deal of soul. The welcome and service were on par with the cuisine: warm, attentive, without ever being intrusive. We experienced a timeless moment, one that my parents will cherish for a long time. A rare, genuine, and profoundly human gastronomic experience. Thank you for this unforgettable memory.

Perfect!!! A truly delightful experience in every way. A genuine Michelin-starred restaurant that lived up to our expectations. The service was impeccable, the setting elegant with its use of fine materials, and the intimate atmosphere was warm and inviting with the fireplace. The cuisine was refined, showcasing the best of local produce. Don't miss the Maréchal des Contades pâté... a delight!!! We Normans will be back; this is a must-visit for us! Thank you all!

We had an exceptionally good and creative menu on New Year's Eve. The atmosphere was pleasant and relaxed. The staff were all very friendly.

A wonderful discovery! We were delighted with our meal. The dishes were delicious and presented in an original way. Special mention goes to the butter churning demonstration. This lunch held many surprises for us, both in terms of taste and the chef's style. We had a fantastic time and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

We had a wonderful time. The setting blends modern and traditional elements in a beautiful half-timbered house. The dishes were perfectly cooked and presented. The Alsatian goose foie gras was absolutely divine, and their patented egg was a marvel. The wines were exceptional in appearance, aroma, and taste. The staff were attentive and discreet. THANK YOU for this lovely experience.

A beautifully decorated restaurant where you receive a very warm welcome. The individual courses are reduced to the essentials (true to the motto "simple is difficult") and are simply perfect and delicious. The service is very professional, yet attentive and courteous. Explanations are given in French, English, and/or German. We had a wine pairing that harmonized very well with the dishes, but unfortunately, the explanations were somewhat lacking, and the timing was sometimes a little too early and sometimes a little too late. Nevertheless, it's a lovely evening to experience where everyone works together seamlessly and clearly enjoys themselves. We were even allowed to bring our two large dogs. If you're near Obernai, it's definitely worth an evening!

We were a group of 6 adults, a three year old and a 6 month old. My son was told it was child friendly when making the reservation but even so I was extremely nervous about bringing children so young to a Michelin star restaurant. We were shown to our own room upstairs and had the most wonderful waiter I have ever experienced. Not only did she manage to prepare the food that needed preparing (like the butter etc) but she was so incredibly kind to the children and to all of us. We truly felt so cared for. The entire evening was lovely. Please tell her how wonderful she was! The food was interesting and creative and everyone loved the one Brussels sprout experience. The pottery place settings and the hand blown wine glasses were an excellent backdrop to the beautifully presented food and wine.

As always, since I'm a regular, I find the perfection I appreciate at Thierry Schwartz's restaurant. Inventiveness and creativity are the two great qualities of his cuisine. It's natural, and you discover new flavors in his combinations. The service is also perfect, friendly, and attentive. You truly feel welcome. The tables near the fireplace are the coziest.
