One of the best meals I've had in France! The tuna poke bowl was incredibly fresh, and the beef was excellent! Thank you to the whole team, and especially to Sophie for her warm welcome and attentive service. It's rare to find a restaurant experience of this caliber where everything is perfect from start to finish. We'll be back, and I highly recommend Le Bistrot du Rhône! Thanks again!

The best meal of our entire French holiday. We had the set lunch menu. Even my 12-year-old daughter enjoyed it. The dishes were very delicately seasoned. The sauce with the meat was incredibly rich and demonstrates the restaurant's high quality.

A very warm and friendly welcome; we immediately felt at ease. We had a main course and dessert, both delicious and well-balanced. The appetizers served before and between courses were a delightful touch! 😋 In short, a lovely and enjoyable evening—we'll definitely be back! 🥰

One of the best meals I had my whole trip. Food was absolutely delicious and plentiful. Service was outstanding and ambience spot on. Would definitely recommend making a visit while in Annecy.

01/08/2026: An absolute highlight in Annecy – warm, queer-friendly, and fantastic! We spent a weekend in Annecy and were specifically looking for an open, queer-friendly restaurant – and with Chez Pen, we found an absolute gem! The combination of bar and restaurant is simply perfect. We felt incredibly comfortable from the very first moment. The connection with the owner was amazing; he treated us with such warmth and attentiveness. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the very next day before the Fête du Lac – and this second evening was even better! A huge thank you to the entire team for these unforgettable evenings.

09/07/2026: My Mom told me about this restaurant and five years after she ate here it is still just as delicious! Amazing quality of fresh food prepared like fine cuisine. Not at all expensive. Friendly, accommodating service. Eat here as often as you can in different seasons to enjoy the chef’s changing menu. The July 2026 menu features a tuna dish and an artichoke appetizer to try, the porc is fantastic too and served with the freshest peas we have ever eaten. Heavenly desserts too!
