I made a reservation for lunch. I trusted them from the moment I saw them spreading out a thick reservation list and checking it! (Many restaurants make me unsure if my reservation is actually being taken...) They use ingredients that vary depending on what they source each day, so the server explained the menu carefully and thoroughly. They were very kind throughout and seemed to be working with confidence. As it's a bistro, the portions are large and I was quite full. The main fish dish seemed to be a whole fish. I also wanted to try dessert. I recommend it!

Two weeks in France and this was our best dinner. Every bite of food was wonderful. Their ever changing menu highlights local, seasonal products. A wonderful blend of flavors. Service was warm without being overwhelming, giving us the experience we could have given the fact that we had to go to the football match after. I would go back again in an instant.

An excellent restaurant in Rennes! We had a perfect time from start to finish. The dishes are refined, flavorful, and prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. The menu is short but expertly crafted; you can really taste the chef's skill. The welcome and service are warm, attentive, and offer excellent advice, especially regarding the wine. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, ideal for a lovely evening. A true gem in Rennes, we will definitely be back. I highly recommend it!

18/05/2026: Good crêpes and nice ambiance. The cider selection was also very good (at least to us). Since it was a very busy holiday, we decided to make a reservation right before the place opened, but there was no real need.
09/05/2026: While passing through Rennes, we enjoyed some truly delicious crêpes. I highly recommend them; the prices are reasonable and the presentation is top-notch 🙏👏👍

01/04/2026: I'm sharing my experience at Pique Prune. From appetizer to dessert, it's a culinary journey that awakens the taste buds. For those who don't know, the dishes here are made with love and are delicious. I challenge anyone who thinks vegetarians live on salads and vegans on seeds to come and try the concept. Because I can assure you, it's a myth, not reality. Be warned, though, you might become addicted. It's spicy and definitely not for nothing, that's for sure. It's hearty, healthy, and flavorful. You can even buy a deposit dish for 3 euros that you can keep if you can't finish your daily special. For those still hesitating, I say come, you won't believe your eyes. The winning trio ☺️ good for everyone, you eat what you like, at an excellent price. 😉☀️ 🌟 Starters and some desserts are priced by weight, which is a nice, self-service approach. You only pay for what you eat. It helps prevent food waste. I really liked this concept. 🌟 And for those who would like to try it nearby, there's also a restaurant in Cesson-Sévigné. 🌟 A daily special costs around €11 and it's quite generous.
31/01/2026: Vegetarian cuisine isn't my favorite, but it's quite good, the staff is friendly, and the setting is pleasant. I was a little disappointed today with the undercooked dishes, which I didn't find at all enjoyable. The comment was made politely, and we'll see next time. Overall, I recommend it.
