Do not order the chuck steak as it’s very tough! I would not serve it to my guests ever. The seriole fish was nice.

Food was good but, as we expected for a restaurant at the bottom of Mt. Blanc, we had a little wait which gave us a chance to look at the stunning views. The lady serving us was rushed off her feet and was heard to tell some tourists that queried the prices "We are not McDonald's" We enjoyed both the food and atmosphere.

Le Comptoir des Alpes impressed us with both its elegance and its warm atmosphere. The place is luxurious but definitely not pretentious, on the contrary, it has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, we felt very comfortable. The small snacks served before the meal were really delicious and were a great start to the meal. In the main courses, we tried different tastes that were out of the ordinary and all were prepared very carefully. The prices are very reasonable for this quality. I definitely recommend it for those who care about both taste and ambiance🙏⭐️

Efficient service that adds something extra to the dish. The sommelier is excellent, and you'll be guided by him. I may not have made the best choices for the main courses; the fish dish wasn't particularly well-designed. Dessert: a dash of vanilla cream, a grapefruit supreme, a mini scoop of grapefruit sorbet, and three mini crunchies... It's so sad. I looked at the photos and the website, and they didn't match what I'd imagined. Sorry.

28/09/2024: Excellent cuisine in a magnificent setting. Good value for money
31/08/2024: Perfect for the taste buds. Lunch in the garden with “brasero” option on Thursday lunchtime, it was perfect. We always have an excellent time at Maison Carrier and the service is impeccable.

15/09/2024: Excellent dîner, service soigné, attentif, cadre chaleureux, excellente soupe à l’oignon, tout comme les plats servis avec des légumes frais.
13/09/2024: Excellent hidden gem! Situated up a little side street off the Main Street in Chamonix. A very warm welcome into an intimate, cosy and romantic setting. Waiter was very polite and attentive as soon as we entered the restaurant. Choice of food and wines was excellent and offered a wide range of fish, meat and sides.I am gluten free and chef was prepared to adapt the dish I chose to suit my dietary requirements. The food was very tasty and well presented. Prices were reasonable and we will be returning again soon.
