Everything we got from here was amazing. The staff is very friendly and service was good. I would highly recommend going and would definitely go back the next time I'm in Chamonix.

Out of three Michelin recommended restaurants we tried, it was the least memorable experience. Not bad but could be better, the service was “hip” and didn’t match the cold ambiance of the dinning room. The food was ok, we had 6 different dishes between two of us but only remember foie gras and orange soufflé (soufflé was really best I ever had).

Lunch today.
The market dish: very well cooked and flavorful… but… a small portion… it left you wanting more. A shame.
Delicious desserts, on the other hand.
And to finish, a glass of wine which, like the main course, left you wanting more. Except for the price per glass.
In short, a good restaurant that deserves to offer a little more to be perfect.

A good experience. First of all, the service I thought was outstanding with every waiter being very attentive and charismatic. Now to the food, I thought the menu was abit limited especially if you were vegetarian. The food itself was great, but always left me wanting more! The main, the duck was beautiful, however popcorn on top I thought didn’t really make any sense or elevate the dish.
Now to the atmosphere, the table and chairs were outdated, our seats next to the coffee machine and cheese selection I personally wasn’t a fan of the smell. The music was abit loud for my liking also. Overall, I left the restaurant happy mainly because of the staff and the service! Thank you!

Excellent cuisine featuring superb local and French products at a great price. We opted for the Ascension menu at €59, which included a starter, main course, and dessert.
The service was outstanding, and the wonderful team provided excellent advice, particularly on the wines.
We had a delightful experience and made a wonderful discovery. Thank you to the entire team at Comptoir des Alpes. I will recommend you without hesitation, and we will definitely be back to dine with you.
