Le Bistro de Claude delivers classic French comfort with a refined touch. Warm service, cozy ambiance. Breads were fantastic, the pork pluma was perfection with risotto and baby vegetables. Dessert fresh profiteroles were excellent, best meal in Cognac. Space is small so recommend reservation

Attentive and discreet service, the entire meal was perfect, starting with foie gras, followed by beef cheek with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and a delicious Breton shortbread with tonka bean and caramel for dessert.

We love this restaurant and come here every time we come to Cognac. The food is delicious and seasonal and the staff are friendly and attentive without being overwhelming. They have a great wine list and it’s a cosy elegant space. Well worth a visit 🤩

15/02/2026: During our Valentine's Day weekend in Cognac, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant which boasts a superb view of the Charente River. They offered reimagined cocktails with a touch of cognac, and the food was excellent from appetizer to dessert, topped off with very pleasant and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to stop by!
