Discovering this bistro for the first time, we really appreciated the warm welcome, and the restaurant's atmosphere is lovely. There was a good selection on the menu, and the prices were reasonable. The meal was delicious from start to finish. We will gladly return. Thank you to Mohamed for his professionalism.

Le Bistro de Claude delivers classic French comfort with a refined touch. Warm service, cozy ambiance. Breads were fantastic, the pork pluma was perfection with risotto and baby vegetables. Dessert fresh profiteroles were excellent, best meal in Cognac. Space is small so recommend reservation

Attentive and discreet service, the entire meal was perfect, starting with foie gras, followed by beef cheek with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and a delicious Breton shortbread with tonka bean and caramel for dessert.

An exceptional place where the service is truly quality: very pleasant and responsive servers… also speak English. A meal from starter to dessert of a refined. I really recommend it with my eyes closed

08/03/2026: We just spent a night at this hotel. The lodge-side room was impeccably clean, spacious, and equipped with high-quality toiletries. A large terrace enhances the room. Furthermore, the hotel's setting is sublime! The breakfasts are generous, and the decor is tasteful. We will definitely return!
07/02/2026: We stayed the weekend of January 31st. We received a very warm welcome from the staff upon arrival, at breakfast, and upon departure. The room was lovely with a view of the hotel garden.

15/02/2026: During our Valentine's Day weekend in Cognac, we stopped for lunch at this restaurant which boasts a superb view of the Charente River. They offered reimagined cocktails with a touch of cognac, and the food was excellent from appetizer to dessert, topped off with very pleasant and helpful staff. Don't hesitate to stop by!
