Exceptional! What a pleasant surprise!
A most welcoming atmosphere, all the staff are truly top-notch, and of course, the food is delicious... with excellent products: foie gras, asparagus (from the Valadon family), etc.
It's definitely worth a detour!

We always have a wonderful time at this restaurant (by far the best in Cognac!). The welcome is friendly and warm, the service attentive, the food excellent, and the wine suggestions perfect. It's simply perfect! Bravo!

We had a wonderful time.
The service was excellent, and the dishes, in addition to being delicious, were very generous.
We decided against ordering the cheese plate (it's very rare for us).
I'm still deducting one star because the wines are a bit pricey.

Discovering this bistro for the first time,
we really appreciated the warm welcome, and the restaurant's atmosphere is lovely. There was a good selection on the menu, and the prices were reasonable. The meal was delicious from start to finish. We will gladly return. Thank you to Mohamed for his professionalism.

Le Bistro de Claude delivers classic French comfort with a refined touch. Warm service, cozy ambiance. Breads were fantastic, the pork pluma was perfection with risotto and baby vegetables. Dessert fresh profiteroles were excellent, best meal in Cognac. Space is small so recommend reservation
