Anyone looking for a special restaurant in Metz should reserve a table at Bistrot de G. The owner greets his guests with a handshake and offers them delicacies from the rural, regional cuisine. I've been visiting this restaurant regularly for over 20 years, have never been disappointed, and always look forward to the new, delicious dishes and menu items. If you're unsure about choosing a wine, G(érald) always has the right advice. The warm atmosphere and friendly service in the somewhat plush Art Nouveau ambiance round off the visit. Highly recommended! 🍀

A wonderful encounter in a beautiful setting. Gérald knows how to welcome you with class and warmth; you're quickly on a first-name basis, the tone is set, and the evening is sure to be very pleasant. His team of servers takes excellent care of us. The one working behind the scenes (the chef) is doing wonders. The cuisine is incredibly flavorful and generous! A lovely evening, a great wine cellar, and a menu to indulge in. Looking forward to returning. Pascal

29/01/2026: A truly wonderful place. During our lunch break, we were able to enjoy a starter and a main course in a relatively short time. The waiter was incredibly efficient, smiling, and attentive, the welcome was warm, and the dishes were delicious and beautifully presented. I will definitely be back!
