A completely unique place where you're bombarded with memories, between the Formica furniture, all the objects from our grandparents' house, and all the sweets from our childhood...it's wonderful to be able to settle down in this little corner to have a drink or a bite to eat...a fantastic trip down memory lane 🥰🥰

My favorite place in Gérardmer, I come here every time I visit since I live so close. Great atmosphere and childhood memories come flooding back every time. It's just like my real Grandma's house. 🥰 I recommend it 100%!

Every time we're in Gérardmer, we make a point of visiting. We never get tired of it. Bravo for this atmosphere that reminds us of childhood 😍😍😍 A must-see and a must-try! It's been 11 months already... And Grandma is still here, still the same as ever... delicious pastries, top-notch service... we LOVE IT!!!! 😍😍😍

We went in just to have a beer and mainly to see the decor. There are old wooden drawers with copper handles filled with candy, bubble gum, and all sorts of sweets. A must-see!

I love the atmosphere and the old-fashioned decor, the coffee is excellent, the welcome is warm, the interior is simply fantastic, with candies from our childhood and top-notch decor. The little popcorn 🍿 on the side is a nice touch 👌 It's a must-visit in Gérardmer 😉

La Taverne Alsacienne

19/05/2026: Good experience at the Alsatian Tavern: I had a very good meal; the tarte flambée was delicious. The atmosphere was warm and friendly. The servers were also friendly and the service pleasant. You can tell it's a very popular tourist spot. The only real downside (for me) is the lack of space between the tables; they're really very close together (20cm apart). So you have to like fairly cramped places. Personally, it's not really the kind of atmosphere I enjoy. But it's still a good place to eat a good tarte flambée in Gérardmer 😊
17/05/2026: Excellent food. Typical Alsatian dishes, a must-try. Reservations are essential if you plan to go on a weekend.
