We've been going to Gerardmer twice a year for the past five years… "Chez Mémé" has become our departure ritual (an excellent breakfast before heading home). Can't wait to go back! 🤩

I love this place. The staff is very friendly and always offers delicious food and sweets. The shop is also full of lots of original things; it makes you want to buy everything!

We arrived on Saturday, March 7, 2026, at 11:15 a.m. We received a wonderful welcome from a young waitress. The coffee was exceptional, served with three speculoos cookies and a glass of water on a small tray for €1.70, right in the center of Gérardmer—cheaper than in a small village in the countryside. A platter of three charcuterie items and three cheeses, butter, and fresh bread for two people cost €16. We have absolutely no complaints; it was both plentiful and excellent. The setting is unique and, above all, very pleasant. Don't change a thing! Go without hesitation.

I was just passing through and absolutely loved this unique place!
The latte, matcha, and beer were fantastic! They also serve delicious homemade cookies as a bonus, and they're not for sale. Seeing how desperate I was, they gave me some to take home. Special mention for the atmosphere and the little goodies they have for sale!

Breakfast at Mémé's, a place filled with memories, unique and beautifully decorated. The breakfast kit is very comprehensive and the hot drinks are delicious. Thank you for the warm welcome, I highly recommend it.

We spent the day in Gérardmer for the first time – a wonderful place! For afternoon tea, we strolled through the town center and stumbled upon Chez Mémé, a fantastic place that takes you back in time with all sorts of little treats and delicious tarts. The welcome was lovely, I highly recommend it. Thank you, Mémé, we'll be back!
