Super friendly and helpful staff and the place is surrounded by a fantastic view

If you think about where beforehand, you can book a historic accommodation with nice staff, good cuisine and a typical breakfast

Superb location opposite Lake Napoléon, and well-operated restaurant unlike before, the menu is varied and attractive. The only downside this year is an employee who is not up to the task, who grumbles and complains out loud between her trips, foreign tourists actually bear the brunt when they asked for a beer and she complained about not understanding anything in turning on his heels. Being on vacation, not in a hurry, with a superb view it was even rather laughable, seeing the smirks of the other customers at the table. You must surely have difficulty recruiting seasonal workers, but don't tarnish your reputation, that would be a shame. The pass drains from the passage in the summer but Vars remains a regular resort.

Back from hiking, I stop for a little well-deserved snack! They no longer have waffles or pancakes but the choice on the menu is still substantial to find what you're looking for! The welcome is really pleasant, the waitress is very nice! Bonus for the view of the small lake 🥰 and the large parking lot right next to it!

We stopped to eat, We were very well received and the staff is really friendly, the food is quality, nothing to say other than thank you.

I think the waitress should relax and the service be more efficient but apart from that the food was good and the plates plentiful.

Nous avons passé un agréable moment en famille dans ce petit restaurant de montagne (à la fois bistrot). La cuisine est excellente et les plats sont à la fois de qualité, copieux et joliment présentés. De plus, Le Bistrot travaille avec des producteurs locaux et la cuisine est entièrement faite "maison". C'était tout simplement délicieux ! J'aimerai également ajouter que l'accueil est convivial et le cadre est à la fois authentique et cosy. Bref, je recommande vivement !
