A Lyon bistro where the cuisine is excellent and homemade, the service is fast, the atmosphere friendly and the dishes generous, a must-do when you are in Lyon.
We enjoyed having lunch on the terrace of this bistro, well protected from the hustle and bustle of the city center. The cuisine is homemade. We enjoyed the generous, well-filled and tasty Lyonnaise salad. Only downside: the salad of the day, announced with chicken, arrived with pieces of another meat with three as if detached from skewers.... The desserts were also very good and fresh, sweet to our taste without excess as too often . The service is pleasant, efficient and smiling. On the reception side, the owner focuses mainly on regulars and acquaintances, with a little too much "unembarrassed" for our taste.
Very warm welcome, the salad of the day was plentiful and excellent. The crème brûlée and gourmet coffee are delicious.
We recommend this place in a street away from the crowds.
If you’re just looking for a drink, go somewhere else. We only had 2 drinks - a beer and a glass of rose and it was 15 Euro ( while most bistros and pubs around were having happy hour).
