Le Bistrot des Marronniers sur Lons-Le-Saunier

We visited the restaurant twice during our vacation: excellent bistro cuisine, especially the fish and seafood dishes. Very friendly service and a good wine selection.

A wonderful experience at this restaurant! We received a very warm welcome from the friendly and attentive staff. The food was also excellent; the dishes were delicious and of high quality. I highly recommend this restaurant.

For the reservation, my husband initially called to request a table on the terrace. We were told it wouldn't be possible due to a predicted thunderstorm. Later that morning, seeing that the sun was shining, I called again to see if it would be possible after all. The person I spoke to was rather curt, making it clear that we had already been told no. It was a bit of a shame, especially since our request was simply related to the changing weather forecast and had been made very politely. This first contact didn't leave a very good impression. As for the restaurant itself, we had a pleasant experience. The servers were friendly and the table service was smooth. The dishes were good, simple, and well-prepared, but they lacked that little touch of originality that makes all the difference. On the other hand, the desserts were excellent and, in our opinion, the real highlight of the meal. In summary, it's a good place that we still recommend, with quality cuisine, even if we were expecting a little more magic on the plates.

Very tasty food. We arrived late for lunch on our way to Alsace. Service was almost finished nevertheless the chef was able to prepare quickly 2 tasty dishes. Local vibes, dishes and calm atmosphere for this lunch. Easy parking nearby. It is a good find. 👍🏼🙏🏼

Lunch in July, with the heat... the air conditioning was a little weak but above all the menu with all its saucy dishes is more suited to the winter period, what a shame.
